YOGA FUNDAMENTALS

Yoga Fundamentals is the first module in my Yoga for Beginners course. Starting with the basics, this 6-class module will introduce you to the fundamentals of yoga. There is plenty of repetition so that you can develop your knowledge and skill over time. Make sure that you do the classes in order, as each class builds on the previous class.     This is an overview of the Yoga for Beginners course, including information to help you to get started.

  • Class 1: Yoga fundamentals

    This is the first class in the Yoga Fundamentals module.

    It is suitable for complete beginners.

    Recommended equipment: yoga mat & 2 x bricks (or brick substitutes)
    Optional equipment: yoga block (or substitute)

  • Class 2: Yoga fundamentals

    This is the second class in the Yoga Fundamentals module.

    It is suitable for complete beginners.

    Recommended equipment: yoga mat & 2 x bricks (or brick substitutes)
    Optional equipment: yoga block (or substitute)

  • Class 3: Yoga fundamentals

    This is the third class in the Yoga Fundamentals module.

    It is suitable for complete beginners.

    Recommended equipment: yoga mat & 2 x bricks (or brick substitutes)
    Optional equipment: yoga block (or substitute)

  • Class 6: Yoga fundamentals

    This is the sixth class in the Yoga Fundamentals module.

    It is suitable for complete beginners.

  • Yoga for Beginners: meditation

    This is a short meditation, which you can practise either before or after the physical classes, or at any time of the day.

    This meditation is suitable for beginners.

    Optional equipment: cushion, block or chair to sit on.
