This series of Hatha yoga classes is designed to get you moving throughout your working day, with particular emphasis on reversing the effects of sitting at a desk for prolonged periods of time.

  • Whole body wake up

    This Hatha yoga class focuses on waking up your whole body, stretching you out and switching on your muscles ready for your working day ahead.

    Some prior experience of yoga is recommended.

    Recommended equipment: yoga mat.
    Optional equipment: 2 x bricks (or brick substitutes).

  • Midday break

    This Hatha yoga class is designed to give you a break from your desk and get you moving in the middle of your day, but it can be done at any time.

    Some prior experience of yoga is recommended.

    Recommended equipment: yoga mat.
    Optional equipment: 1 x brick (or brick substitute).

  • 6-minute desk break

    This Hatha yoga sequence is designed to give you a short movement-based break from your desk. The whole sequence is standing, so you could do it beside your desk.

    This class is suitable for beginners.

    Recommended equipment: yoga mat.

  • End of day opening

    This Hatha yoga class focuses on hip and shoulder opening, and front and back of core strengthening, to reverse the effects of sitting at your desk all day.

    Some prior experience of yoga is recommended.

  • Energy boost

    This short Hatha yoga class is designed to give you an energy boost, whether that's at the start your day, or to re-energise you during the afternoon.

    Some prior experience of yoga is recommended.

  • Active hip mobility for desk dwellers

    This Hatha yoga class focuses on mobilising your hips which is ideal if you have been sitting at your desk a lot. It focuses on increasing your active range of motion; not only improving the flexibility of your hip muscles, but also their strength.
