This series of Hatha yoga classes focuses on the stability of your physical foundations to improve your technique and skill not only in standing balances but also through the rest of your practice.

  • Balanced foundations

    This Hatha yoga class focuses on your feet as a stable base.

    Some prior experience of yoga is recommended.

    Recommended equipment: yoga mat & 2 x bricks (or substitutes).

  • Active foundations

    This Hatha yoga class focuses on using the feet as an active base.

    Some prior experience of yoga is recommended.

    Recommended equipment: yoga mat
    Optional equipment: 2 x bricks (or substitutes)

  • Strong foundations

    This Hatha yoga class focuses on balancing, by exploring the action of legs and cultivating leg strength in your balances.

    Some prior experience of yoga is recommended.

    Recommended equipment: yoga mat & 2 x bricks (or brick substitutes)

  • Balances to calm the mind

    This Hatha class focuses on standing balances to help to calm the mind.

    Some prior experience of yoga is recommended.

    Recommended equipment: yoga mat & 1 x brick (or brick substitute).

  • Balanced transitions

    This Hatha yoga class is a balancing sequence focusing on your technique when transitioning out of a standing balance.

    Some prior experience of yoga is recommended.

  • Twisting balances

    This Hatha yoga class focuses on twists and twisting balances.

    Some prior experience of yoga is recommended.

    Recommended equipment: yoga mat & 2 x bricks (or brick substitutes)

  • Whole body balance

    This Hatha yoga class focuses on balances for your whole body.

    Some prior experience of yoga is recommended.

    This Hatha yoga class focuses on balancing, including some more challenging options.
