This is a valuable daily practice for your mental and physical health. It can be done at any time of the day. It can be great for mental focus, and also relaxation, as it takes us into a meditative state. We all have different levels of sensitivity, so it's worth exploring which time of day works best for you.
If at first you find 6 seconds too long, you can always start with 4 or 5 seconds and work your way up to 6, but always make sure that the inhalation and the exhalation are even.
This practice is suitable for beginners. No equipment is needed.
